Didn’t get my first choice of english course entry requirement was AAB, got the insurance offer unconditional but I am not longer sure that it is what I want cause the entry requirement was much lower BCC. My overall results were ABB, could you help me found a better alternative through adjustment please?

just to let you know that you would not be eligible for adjustment but would be OK for clearing, and you have good grades. The UCAS website has all vacancies listed, search on English. The Complete University Guide (CUG) has advice on clearing strategy and you can look at the rankings of course. I work at Aston University and we have 5 places left in English Language in Clearing but only for students with ABB and better and we offer English Language, not Lit.
One idea might be to look at the top 30 Universities overall in the CUG and/or in English and see via UCAS which of those have vacancies. Look as well at Universities or locations that are similar to your original first choice -do any of those have vacancies?
Your original CI choice may have "low" offers but may actually still be the ideal course for you -content wise, and you may also be more likely to get accommodation etc as you had them as a CI choice - for example Insurance students come 2nd in the Q for residences at my own University to Firm acceptance students. Firms are guaranteed but Insurance students are allocated as soon as all the firms have been.
