Is it also possible to contact with universities by an email about the Clearing process?

Asked by , Edited by Alison Patterson [ Admin ]

It’s just that I don’t feel that my English is so good to call to them. Therefore it is easier for me to email. But is it possible at all? or it’s not as good oppurtunity? The point is that I’m not really sure if I have a point to call because perhaps my results aren’t that good. Is there any point to call universities who have asked higher exam results, and I have lower marks? Or is it unreal that they will give me an offer.?

of course, but phone is best. also try clearing enquiry forms on University websites which can then be looked at quickly with all the relevant information.

There is no point in contacting Universities if your results are below their stated clearing entry requirements. At my own University for example we are not taking students who have grades of below BBB-AAB at A level depending on the vacancy, and we will be full later today or tomorrow morning, having only taken students with grades of ABB or better in most cases.
