Is it possible to find a list of Engineering Courses in the UK?

I have a question, and I wonder if you may be able to answer…

Is it possible to find a list of Engineering Courses in the UK which can be studied with Standard Level Maths at IB rather than stipulating Maths as a HL?

Thanks for your email. I don’t believe that a list exists. The fastest route to finding which universities require IB higher level maths is probably to go to the Course Search in UCAS http://search.ucas.com/cgi-bin/hsrun/search/search/StateId/QPdS93mAnTw2FoqCuvBoVg9TTJ5vo-4yyC/HAHTpage/search.HsKeywordSuggestion.whereNext?query=223&word=ENGINEERING&single=Y

Then click on the courses that appeal to you, eg

http://search.ucas.com/cgi-bin/hsrun/search/search/StateId/QPdS93mAnTw2FoqCuvBoVg9TTJ5vo-4yyC/HAHTpage/search.HsDetails.run?n=1031281

Go to Entry Requirements, then go to course specific requirements. You will find the IB entry requirements here

I think you will find courses, but you will have to persevere. I suggest you narrow your options by choosing a particular degree course – general engineering, civil engineering, electronic engineering, mechanical engineering etc. Then identify a few universities. Choose between 3 year BEng and four year MEng. Use UCAS Course Search, then go to the individual websites or online prospectuses.

Alternatively, try manipulating Unistats.com http://unistats.direct.gov.uk/retrieveColleges_en.do;jsessionid=936A414A95ADB6E27AE166AF270EA70F.worker2
